Are you a bossyboots, a slowcoach, a silly billy or a cleverboxes?

The second schoolday started with buying the ticekts for our weekend excursions to Blenheim Palace and the Isle of Wight.

In the lessons today we were given some ideas for developing personal language (communication) by letting us find out what we have in common. Then we learned new words about the different types of people (see the title and find out who you are!). The most difficult part was learning rhyming expressions such as fuddy-duddy, high and dry, namby-pamby, the hoi polloi etc. These were really confusing but caused lots and lots of fun! We also revised some of the useful prepositions.

We had different activities to carry out these grammar and vocabulary topics like: A walking gallery, Running Relay, Guessing and competing etc.
