Chillax! The first day of the course! Meeting other groupmates!

Today was my very first day at the course! At the very beginning I met a teacher from Slovakkia called Senka and it turned out that we're having the same course! I was lucky as I had found somebody pleasant to speak to!

There are 13 of us from different countries: a man from Latvia, some people from Poland, Czech Republic and Spain, one from Bulgaria and one from Brasil.

We have a lovely teacher called Geraldine Power, who is really very motivating and helpful and easy to talk to.

Today we firstly had some ice-brakers but they were not boring as usual! Then we had some tips for working with mixed ability classes and got to know something about different learning styles. We also practised phrasal verbs and had a variety of possibilities to teach them!

A useful phrase for everybody who's coming to England!

Always keep a brolly with you!

We have good facilities to have lunch at the same building which is called Said Business School (Oxford Lake School is having July and August courses there).

We had salmon with new potatoes and some green salad which cost £4.10, less than my yesterday's sandwich! It was very delicious. We can also have two free hot drinks during a schoolday with a card we were given.

After the course me and Senka headed for Debenhams to buy a two-week Smart Zone Card which cost £36! Quite a lot of money but all in all it'll save up some money!

Went back to my host family, had a lovely dinner, chatted with a family!
