Finally here! Kidlington, Oxford, the UK.

I'm proud of myself millions! Who could have thought I can make it? Not me, being the biggest topographical idiot in the world! Maybe it was just a beginner's luck, maybe something else, hopefully something else! All the places were easily found and my nose went just towards the correct destination.

Here I am at my host family, Kidlington, Oxford, the UK! And I'm awfully tired, so I promise to write about what happened on July 3rd tomorrow.

OK! I promised to write what happened to me on Sunday, July 3rd. I already started my mobilty on Saturday, July 2nd, heading to Tallinn from Võru at 3.10 p.m. to my daughter's place for a so-called acclimatisation. We had some fun in the evening, shopping and relaxing at a sushi bar, eating a kind of a soup I had never tasted before but it turned out to be quite tasty!

In the morning, on Sunday July 3rd my daughter ordered for a taxi to take me to Tallinn Airport. She left me there, completely alone, reassuring that everything will be alright with me and I can manage! And she was dead right! My very first flight alone was about to start!!!!

At the airport I was firstly feeling a bit dizzy, not knowing what to do and where to go, but it only took a couple of minutes to pull myself together and I headed to the correct directions. In the queue I had my first chat in English that day with a man having the same flight (he was of Indian origin!). It was already a bit conforting as there was somebody I already "knew".

And then at 12.00 our flight to London Stansted Airport started! Before that I had found the seat at the very back of the airplane, place  33E (just in the middle, I was accompanied by the two Englis people). When the plane took off, I was completely silent and dead nervous but everything went smoothly, even my ears didn't start aching. I was listening to my MP3 player for almost all the time. When the plane landed I was extraordinary happy! And then I started talking to a lady on my left, as I was a bit concerned of the fact how to reclaim my luggage. It was good news when the lady told that her daughter-in-law (sitting on her right) was Estonian! So we started communicating and it turned out that she was working as a teacher here in England for some years already, married to an Englishman and has already been living in England for 10 years! They were visiting the Estonian woman's parents in Hiiumaa. All three of them were asked several questions at passport conntrol but surprisingly enough, I was asked no questions at all! This family was extraordinary helpful and I'm grateful to them!

Then I easily found a Bus Stop. When I had searched the information of its location at home, it seemed that it would be very difficult to spot the place, but in real life I just had to follow the signs and found it in less than 2 minutes. And I remembered that I had been at the same place in 2003 with one of my classes!

I spent my first pounds on a sandwich and a coke at the bus stop. I was treated like a queen herself! The man used the most polite English and wished me "Have a nice day, honey!" Probably I blushed! But was extraordinary happy! What a welcome!

The bus ride from Stansted Airport to Oxford Bus Station took 3 hours 50 minutes. Then I had to find the bus stop to leave for my host family in Kidlington. I have always mentioned that I'm a topocraphical idiot but perhaps I have to change my mind! Finding Debenhams at Mgdalen Street was just a piece of cake! And the same applies to the house of my host family in a beautiful area in Kidlington!

I was warmly welcomed by my host family, fed and given my own room!
