Visit to secondary school. Cosford Hill School

At 1.10 p.m we set off for one of the secondary schools (students aged 11-18), which was very close to where I live, in Kidlington, just one bus stop further away.

They're really strict as all the visitors must report to Reception where we were asked to sign the Visitors' book and were also given our Visitors' signs. We were escorted by a teacher called Jane. The school itself is divided into different buildings, there are about 1, 000 students and only 60 teachers there. We could shortly visit one French class and talk to the students. Of corse, they were wearing their school uniforms and their school holidays start on 20th July! Surprisingly or not, but it turned out that both girls and boys learn DT (Design and Technology), it means that they both learn how to cook, sew, do woodwork etc. Very useful!

We could also have a little chat with an 11-year-old Harvey, who was a brilliantly authentic source to answer to all our questions starting from thepossibilities to get a detention finishing with his number one hobby!

Finally-  milky tea and delicious date cakes by Jane  in the library!
